Today we're offering hospitality to an overnight guest, our niece. This should be a delightful treat for the boys. My older son, in particular, is attached to her. We'll be staying inside to avoid the heat during the day, but then going to an evening baseball game. I hope she enjoys it as much as we do.
With luck, I may even get time for sewing today. There will definitely be time for reading, with it too hot to play outside. I also have routine shopping for groceries at the supermarket. Today is shopping day, but it won't predominate the schedule.
